Old age people often brake their bones, why what is the reason.?


Answer:
women , more than men , lose their bone density due to very many reasons and the bones tend to become weak. This results in the bone breaking at the weakest point when /if there is a fall. Men , too , have the same peoblem but to some lesser extent.

These days men and women are adived to take "Bone Density" test which is very simple , though it costs some money. The result of the test will indicate the trend and doctors might advice siome food suppliments and calcium for this. Still there is the need to be careful.

Older people go through osteoporosis, or the losing of bone mass. Since their bones aren't as dense as they once were, they become very brittle.

Imagine trying to break a fairly large stick you pulled right off a tree. Now imagine trying to break one the same size, but had been sitting on the ground a while. The bone issue is very similar to that.
As people age, their bones slowly lose calcium, that's why you are supposed to drink milk every day, so this doesn't happen. This goes especially for women, when they have a baby, some of their calcium goes to the baby, therefore causing her to have less. The more children a woman has, the less calcium she has in her bones.

The breaking of bones has NOTHING to do with them rubbing together. Bones don't rub together..that would be very painful indeed.
when you get older your bone is fragile because your whole skeleton has held up all that weight for so many years...one simple fall, or trip, or slip, or slide can break just about anything. and it really is dangerous. there is medicine though that helps strengthen bones. my grandma just got hip replacement surgery two days ago cuz she fell.
sometimes they get dizzy and fall or some old people have l know weak ankles and their legs just give out on them

As you get older your bones become more brittle,in saying that you don't necessarily need to be old. I was 27 when diagnosed with osteoporosis %26 bones can fracture easily.Certain weight exercises and consuming dairy products can help,then of course there are medications depending on the severity.
Most of the old aged peoples break their bones by osteoporosis.
When in old age,men and women lose calcium,thats why in old age people often break their bones,but remember each and every problem have short term,long term or even permenant solution,dear friend,human beings on earth are designed to live for 120 years,but most often they die around the age of 80 years.
