NyQuil ingredients?

didnt they change an ingredient in it so it could
stay as an over-the-counter-drug
______________________________...
if they did, can you tell me what the ingreidint do..
do any other drugs still have it
Answer:
NyQuil ingredients are:
Acetaminophen-pain reliever
Dextromethorphan-cough suppressant
Doxylamine succinate-antihistamine. It previously contained pseudoephedrine but took that out so it can be sold OTC. Why do you want to know what other products contain pseudoephedrine?
They did change the ingredients in Nyquil and took out the active ingredient that is in Sudafed, which is pseudopherine. Pseudopherine is also a common ingredient in the illegal drug methamphetamine, that is why you have to ask the pharmacist for it. Sudafed is a good nasal decongestant and is what you need for your stuffy nose.
