I have had bouts of prostatitis, most recently I have caught a very bad cold. I have been taking nyquil for the past two days and today i noticed it says not to take if you have an enlarged prostate. Anyone know why this is? and if i should discontinue using it? practically every medicine says this.
Answer:
NyQuil has an antihistamine in it and that can exacerbate the symptoms of an enlarged prostate. Primarily difficulty urinating.
