of man my tonsils are so big they are touching my uvuila and there is white gooey stuff on them how do i fix this problem and what is the effects if i dont do anything please help ive been to a doctor but she hasnt told me the effects so please help!

it's kind of like other illnesses. you get it from being exposed to it. some people are more susceptible. it can cause complications, which is why they used to just remove tonsils all the time and if you got it, ever. i had it once from being around someone who had it and never got it again after that. i guess i probably didn't have it too badly. it was kind of like any other throat infection. i would suggest, if you're having problems, going back to the doc and discussing options with her. that's what doctors do. it's their job to tell you the effects of things going on with your body.
have them removed! It hurts a lot more as an adult, but it will stop you having this again.
take the treatment the doctor gave you.if this is recurrent you may need to have them removed(tonsillectomy) as they may be fibrotic.
