Now that i think about it... could it be the opiates?

I know that OxyContin causes severe apathy, but lately, I've been having these horrible fits of guilt. I don't have a good reason to feel guilty about the stuff that I worry about, it feels like it's just caused by irrational anxiety.
I've been using oxy for almost two years now. I also use vicodin, percocet, morphine, amphetamines, marijuana, alcohol, several other things (not here to be judged). But I think it's the oxy. What do you think? (and dont get on here and tell me to stop, thats not why i posted this.)
Answer:
You're a drug addict extraordinaire. I'm not surprised you're having problems. I'm just curious how you support your habit. I bet you're a stripper. In any case there is no one drug causing your anxiety. Basically, this is something you've brought on yourself. Instead of trying to pinpoint the cause of you're "irrational anxiety" you should be trying to pinpoint the cause of your excessive drug use.

Hooker then? You certainly cant hold a good paying regular job with all those narcotics in your system. Maybe you can fool yourself but you cant fool me. And booze is not the problem, it just adds to it.
Of course, it's all the drugs you are on and have been on.

You can't expect to feel good taking all of those things.
Lol sorry. I am not laughing at you but if you could see yourself from the outside, you would laugh at this impossible situation. Telling me not to tell you to stop while answering you question is one of the hardest things I've ever NOT done.
I was there too and then one day I slammed on the breaks and quit everything all at once. I do not feel superior to you because of that. We're all human and we're all weak in different areas. Good luck... I wish you the best.
If you don't want people to judge you or tell you to stop taking drugs don't post on a public forum.
the combined us of those narcotics are likely to make anyone have severe emotional problems, among them unreasoned guilt, paranoia and phobias. Your mind cannot work effectively when it is constantly bombarded with narcotics.
Oxy, vicodin, percocet and morphine all cause irritability, anxiety etc. but a combination of all these things can cause just about any emotional and psychological symptom you could imagine.
The drugs may or may not be causing some of your problems but the only way to know for sure is to see your doctor. Normally if you have side effects from a medication you notice if fairly soon after you start a medication and you mentioned you have been on it for about 2 years. The one thing that is PROBABLY causing it is the alcohol. You cannot mix alcohol with prescription pain medications as this could be lethal in some cases. You do need to stop drinking alcohol and if you can't do it on your own then ask for help with a treatment program. Good Luck.
I think the Bastard hit the nail on the head. How else could you support such widespread abuse? Drugs are for losers!
Listen to the Bastard hun. No one thing is the cause of your "irrational" anxiety. When you think about it there is nothing "irrational" about it at all. You reap what you sow.
COULD IT BE THE DOPE?

THE ONLY PERSON'S ANSWER THAT IS IMPORTANT IS YOURS.
Basket,
several of the meds you're taking also contain Tylenol. You may be OD'ing on Tylenol without knowing it. Have you had any lab work done recently?

Nourkrin?

has anyone used nourkrin pills? there for hair loss and for building up hair strength. if you have can you tell me if it worked for you
thanks
Answer:
My ex girlfriend used Nourkrin and was very happy with the results and now uses the Nourkrin maintain formula tablets.
there is nothing on the market yet to stop or even prevent hair loss, its all a gimmick, its just bad luck, blame your mum, its her genes that you've inherited

Not long left, close to death?

Hi im 15 Male and 5ft4 162cm do u think i can grow another 8cm by the time im adult so thats 170cm or 5ft 7 if not ill comit suicide i guess. do u guys think i will be able to do it??
Answer:
Typically men don't exit the puberty stage (which includes height growth) until up to age 25. Being that you're only 15 years old, you've got quite a ways to go before your hormones settle down. It's quite possible for you to grow another 3 inches or even more by the time you leave high school... Just don't expect that kinda stuff to happen over-night. It takes time, just like everything else.
hey u dont stop growing till u 18 so id say u have a good chance of those 8cm
You're only 15 and suicidal because you're not tall yet? People have much worse problems. You can get much taller over the next 4 or 5 years, depending on how tall your family on both sides is. Concentrate on more important things, like how to grow up on the inside instead.
I suggest that maybe you can grow that much and you'll have to wait and see. So hang in there. Male growth is at it's strongest from 15-19 years. And you don't completely stop growing until 20 or 21! You've got a ways to go. Getting to 5'7" is nothing..easy!
you still got a few years yet before you stop growing. why in the world would you commit suicide because you are only 5ft 4. Both my brothers are 5ft 3 one is 28 and the other 26 life goes on its not the end of the world.

NOT FOR HEALTH PROFESSIONALS- What do you think this medical expression means?

What do you think the terms 'Heart Failure' and 'Congestive Cardiac Failure' means?
I'm a Registered Nurse doing a research project on this topic, and I need to know what the general community thinks these terms mean! So please don't Google the terms, just in your own words, please answer what you're impression of the terms is!
Thankyou!
Answer:
The heart isn`t able to pump blood adequately due to weakened heart muscles, causing fluid build-up in lungs and other organs would be my guess.
They both mean the same thing in general. The heart could not continue to pump blood through the body, for what could be numerous reasons.
I think that they both are the same. My understanding of the terms were that Health Professionals spouted off Congestive Cardiac Failure and maybe just say to their patients the have Heart Failure. dunno if thats what you want
not to get too technical, isn't that when the heart just stops beating?

Not feeling well please help!!?

I get lightheaded all the time. Whats wrong with me? Its getting very annoying and sometimes for a few seconds everything goes black.
Answer:
It could be a number of things such as your blood pressure dropping, a problem with your inner ear (vertigo), dehydration,or any other issue. You need to go see your doctor so that he can give you a complete check up and ask you specific questions to help determine what is wrong.
sometimes that happens when you're not hydrated enough
try drinking more water.
see a Dr. my friend. sounds like vertigo
Could be blood pressure, or sugar levels going to high or too low. Either way, take the safe route and get checked by your doc.
SEE A DOCTOR!!!
AIDS
you should go see a doctor asap
Low blood pressure or a neurological problem, See a doctor.
High blood pressure
I am going to assume it is not something really serious and suggest that you may not be eating enough. Do you eat meals at regular times or are you running on empty. That could make you light headed. If it continues for any length of time, you must go to see a doctor about it.
That happens to me, do you wear glasses? I f you don't got o your eye doctor and ask for an appointment to check your eyes. If you do wear glasses it's time for a new prescription.
It's probably something not to worry about like allergies. It's about that time. It could be your sinuses acting up.

But another way of looking at it it could be very dangerous, either way you need to make sure by telling someone, and talking to a doctor.
Used to happen to me a lot every Spring. I never found an answer, but I never asked here. Slow your breathing, drink more water, how's your diet?
Could be a blood sugar problem. Do you have diabetes in your family? In any case see a doctor as soon as possible.
either your pregnant or anemic in which case you should take plenty of iron.
Better consult a doctor asap. Blackouts can be serious.
you may be dehydrated, drink water, and if it doesn't work go to a doctor
same thing happened to me. in fact i am home sick today, and ya it is really annoying!!

for me it was dehydration drink tons of water, gatorade, and try not to play sports or do tiring activities. but i would see your doctor. cuz my breathing also slowed down a lot and if i laughed hard then my face went numb and my eyes hurt. hope u feel better! =]

Drink Water!!
May be high blood pressure dont take chances, see your doctor or the E R soon
I understand, and yes it is annoying, it seems normal, try getting some sleep and try not to get stressed. if this doesnt help see a doctor
Well summer is hear with a vengeance. And no matter how tough you are your gonna get hot, and possibly dehydrated. Make sure your drinking plenty of water (more then usual), stay away from caffeine (even caffeine free sodas). Have your blood pressure checked by your local doctor, you may be on the verge of something worse. Dont take any pills to ease the pain unless a doctor says so.
You should probably see a doctor about it to make sure nothing is wrong?
Please don't waste anymore time being here on ByeDr.com. You need to either set up an appointment with your family doctor or go to the ER if you black out again! Have a loved one take you there if you get unconscious or feel weak or something! THis is your life!
Could be an iron deficiency. It may be something serious so get on to your doctor.
Not enough info to give you a diagnoses.
Are you eating enough?
Are you drinking enough?
Are you pregnant?
How long has it been going on?
Do you notice that it happens at any particular time?
- if you rise quickly
- if you eat certain foods
Are your ears sore or plugged?

I suggest you see a doctor or even try a medical website.
I knew a girl like that who was diagnosed with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.
Low blood pressure. Not enough oxygen to the brain.
Do daily some aerobic exercises.
Such as The Step. 5-15 minutes a day.
This will push the metabolism back up and your heart will beat stronger.
Could be a number of things: not enough water, low blood sugar, low blood pressure, lack of proper nutrition.
Or there could be a circulation problem or some kind of blockage.
You should see your doctor.
You might be anemic? need iron supplements.
Start eating better. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
see a doc

Not feeling good question?

For that past few weeks ever since it got warmer I have been feeling really tired and I feel Nauseaous.. What do you think that could be and what can I do to stop. Some people said it was because I am not drinking enough water. Any suggestions?
Answer:
You might want to try some Gator-Ade, in case you're low on potassium and sodium from being dehydrated. That always perks me up.

Good luck!
it could be from lack of water and you may need to stay in shady areas too
Drink some more water and try takeing some tums. You also may have mono. maybe if you have been exposed you could go see the doctor they have a 5 minute test they can do. very easy.
it may just be natural but drink fluids youll feel better
It might be heat exhaustion. Try dressing lighter and staying in shady areas. If you work out in the sun be sure to take frequent rest to avoid heat stroke. Also carry water with you, you will be losing a lot more water through sweat than you would in the winter or spring.
Drink lots of water, but the sun makes me sleepy too, that is normal.
drink water

Not able to breathe without thinking about it...?

Im not able to breathe at all without thinking about it. I keep taking in deep, deep breaths and my friends have been watching me when im not paying attention, and realized im not breathing properly. I went to the hospital this morning and they said I was perfectly healthy. And it also feels like im not getting enough oxygen to my head because I've been having extreme headaches. I still dont understand why im doing this. It's like I cant breathe at all without telling myself to. ANY help would be greatly appreciated. THANK YOU VERY MUCH!!
Answer:
I noticed that i did that for the first time when i was pretty young. as i got older, i had certain times when i wouldnt be able to get "that" deep breath that i needed and i thought i was dying. so twice i went to the emergency room twice, i was perfectly fine and was getting exactly the right amount of oxygen. finally, it was determined that it was panic attacks and anxiety.i dont take medication, though i have in the past, its not something i want to deal with everyday, so i just deal with it on my own, which can be a ***** sometimes. i find that if you are having trouble, just turn your mind somewhere else for a second and you will be able to take your deep breath, or forcing a yawn helps too.
i think you need to relax. take a bubble bath or soemthing ps help me too its only fair!

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?...
Just curious. Do you have any other obsessive compulsive traits, like counting things or washing your hands or whatever.
I used to have that whole breathing issue and figured out it was an OCD/anxiety thing and it went away. Believe me, if you stop breathing your body will react by passing out or you will take a breath. Also, do you have sleep apnea at night?

Hope I can help.
Did you explain to the doctor what was happening? You can be perfectly healthy and still have a problem with your breathing.

You may be imagining this problem since you obviously keep breathing while you are asleep because you wake up the next morning. Good luck. Pops
Sounds like you have created your own bad dream and its become obsessive. You need to calm down. Talk more, chew gum, dance, do things that keep you from thinking about breathing.
By the way, you are breathing as you read this. Pretty cool.
sounds like you're having panic attacks of some sort. are you stressed out a lot? breathing is automatic, like your heart beat. so in other words if you stop breathing because you aren't ''thinking about it'' eventually you will pass out and your autonomic nervous system will take over and make you start breathing again. the human body is an amazing thing.
I know exactly what you are talking about. I noticed this is associated with anxiety, because it makes the heart feel like its pumping harder.

The problem is your thought process, you must be an overthinker. Try sports and the gym, and keeping yourself busy and preoccupied. Your brain will start to attune to whatever it is you are doing, even if its nothing, and you will no longer think about it anymore.

The next time you find yourself thinking about how you are breathing, start tapping a drumbeat with your fingers, and bob your head and move your body to the rythym. It will help take your mind off of it.
I think it may be an Anxiety/OCD thing too I know myself I sometimes i find at moment i can kind of like hold my breath for ages and not feel a need to catch up after it. and sometimes feel as though you can take as many deep breaths as you want and not feel like its working. Anxiety can cause many weird things. I kind of think maybe its like a reduced form of a panic attack. so the more you think of it the worse and more frequent it will be.
