I have to have an MRI on my spine, it says "lumbosacral with and without CNT". Tried googling this but still can't find out what CNT is.

Cnt, means contrast and don't worry they inject it in your arm...not your spine...I have an MRI done for brain scans every year...
CNT is contrast media, they inject a contrast dye.

You will get an IV, it will (might, but probably will) make you feel very warm, but unless you have kidney problems, that's the only real side effect.

I believe that means contrast. During an MRI they can give you an injection of contrast which helps the MRI pickup things such as lesions in the brain or on the spinal chord.
I believe CNT stands for Clinical Neurological Tests
