On average how long does a broken arm need to be in plaster?

Answer:
Depends on the break. If its a fracture it can sometimes be splintered apart at various angle if its over a certain amount they may want to reset it. Sometimes they can change their mind over this after you arm has already been in plaster for a couple of weeks. Its usually about 6 to 8 weeks though.
6 to 8 week
6 weeks.
4 to 6 weeks on average, sometimes it could take 8 weeks all depending on the location and typed of break
Usually 6 weeks, then they take plaster off, x-ray limb and as long as the limb has healed properly, they will leave plaster off.
Six weeks - don't take it off early like me and then have problems with it forever!
Right around 7 weeks. Been there, done that. I had a little boy trip me on the playground in 4th grade on purpose and then he said he'd do it again if he had the chance. It sucked, i couldn't do my hair or anything. So trust me, 7 weeks is a long time chicka hehe
