Other than genetics, what minor factors play a role in determining the height of an individual?

Answer:
the food that you eat, and the location. believe it or not, if you go to the moon, you will likely grow a little bit taller due to less gravity.

and exercise also keeps the body healthy, indirectly, it can keep the person growing a little bit taller.

also, "growth hormone" also makes a person grow a little taller, however, too much of that can cause a person to grow too tall.
going to gym and doing weight lifting from your young age will reduce you height...
I believe drinking plenty of milk or taking calcium supplements when you're younger will help your bones grow stronger and faster.

Drinking coffee or anything with caffeine has been rumored to stunt your growth too. But like I said, it's a rumor. Nothing has ever been proven.
This is going to sound funny but my son is convinced that chicken has made him grow tall. I tend to believe that the growth hormones in meat probably do have something to do with the way people are growing taller these days. My son is 16 and is 6'7 the tallest person on either side of his family is 6'3 so genetics aren't totally responsible for his height. He also adds that when he was a little kid he prayed every night to be 6'6 so he could play professional basketball...so I guess alittle prayer doesn't hurt.
